Sakhra Encounters 2025 (18-20.4.2025)
Initiated in 2019 by Abdeljalil Saouli, Gilles Aubry and Carlos Perez Marin, the Sakhra project aims to bring together practitioners of art and research in a convivial setting open to the public. The event takes place over three days in April 2025 in Moulay Bouchta, a village 60 km north of Fez in Morocco. Activities take place mainly in and around the house of artist Abdeljalil Saouli. On the menu: a program of exhibitions, performances, workshops, walks, discussions and shared meals. For the 2025 edition, four artists and researchers are invited for a residency aimed at redeploying their practice on the site with a view to a public presentation.
